This halfcaste actress is half American half Nigerian but she speaks Yoruba language like "Kilode".As a matter of fact the mother of two revealed it was her comedy skits that brought her into Nollywood,after she relocated from America back to Nigeria with her two sons.She is also a single mum and a very stylish actress, pretty actress.Read her interview culled from City People.


Can you Tell us about yourself including your state of origin?

My name is Adunni Adewale , known to the public as Adunni Ade. Born in Queens, New York. Had my primary school at Chrisland school in opebi, my secondary at The Bells Comprehensive Secondary School, Otta. I studied Accounting at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. I have been in the entertainment industry for well over a decade starting of as a model signed under Cosmo Modeling Agency but getting into Acting

officially in 2013. I have been featured in 53 movies till date.

How did you get into acting?

I started off with my Comedy skits just a way to create comic relief to the viewers and one thing lead to the other where I became a fulltime Actress.

What was the inspiration?

I enjoy helping and assisting people either with my time, work or what not. Comedy skits was intentionally to make people laugh. You never know what a person is passing through and if I can make you laugh for a few minutes, I feel satisfied.

How long have you been acting?

A little over 3 years.

How has the journey been so far?

Good, decent I would say. Just as in our daily lives, we go through ups and downs, challenges and all, I am greatful for it all.

How did you get your first role in a movie?

Saheed Balogun saw one of my skits and was interested in working with me and that was how it all started.

Which movie would you say brought you. Recognition?

Well, my Comedy Skits gave me my name.

What are the movie projects you worked on in the last one year?

Bandits, Ratnik ( a huge project) , The Run ( another huge one) and the list goes on.

How has acting experience been for you so far?

I keep learning each production set and personally.

What are some of the challenges you have encountered as an actor?

I don't see any issue as a challenge. It's part of life. Learn from it and move on.

Why did you choose acting rather than any other profession?

I will say I am blessed, why not showcase what God has given me? Also, I use this as a medium to reach out to people facing some sort of issue at the time and hopefully watching me, my life in general and be able to relate and hopefully draw inspiration from it.

What else do you do apart from acting?

I am a fulltime Mother of 2 boys. I have lil businesses on the side as well.

How financially rewarding has acting been for you?

It's Aite as the Americans will say..lol

What kind of role appeals to you most and which has been most challenging?

Nothing is Challenging! It's part of the job to be able to transform into a character given.

What was growing up like for you?

Not all Roses, but hey! You can never break a Strong willed Woman.

My Fear for GOD.

LOL.. Can't really think of any

Being an inspiration to another.
