In the most unusual burial in Saluda County history, Lonnie H. Holloway, 90, was laid to rest Tues., Sept. 8, sitting behind the wheel of his 1972 Pontiac. Logan Funeral Home was in charge of the service, which attracted a tremendous crowd at Rock Hill Baptist Church. Saluda Body Shop brought the car to the cemetery on the back of a rollback, and assisted in the burial of the car .
