A five-storey building has collapsed at the Chisco bus-stop opposite Oando Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. According to The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) 4 people have been confirmed dead and four rescued alive. NEMA spokesperson, Ibrahim Farinloye, more dead bodies have been recovered from the rubble of the collapsed building at the Chisco bus-stop, opposite Oando Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, bringing the casualty figure to five. According to Farinloye, the lucky survivors are now five, adding that rescue operations is still on. Eyewitnesses say the building which was nearing completion, collapsed after the heavy downpour in the city this morning at about 8am. The dead and the trapped are said to be construction workers who had resumed early for the day's job.
