The coal and bubbly city of Enugu was set alive last week when a popular big boy who is well revered by movie stars on account of the largesse he showers them, commenced activities to tie the knot with an adorable actress Ifunanya Igwe who is well loved by many on account of her gentle nature and striking beauty. According to what we gathered, the duo have been dating for over a year now as the actress is heavily pregnant .Asides the other activities held to mark his marriage, the traditional wedding which took place in the bride’s hometown in Enugu state was a carnival like event, with over 100 actors and actresses, especially the Eastern based practitioners, in attendance. Locations in the East were practically shut as all roads led to Enugu for the grand event. The villagers were not left out, with many scrambling to have a glimpse of their favourite artistes. It took place at an open field, beautifully decorated in silver, white and orange, which were colours of the day. The elegant and tall bride still looked very pretty despite her bulging tummy as she is heavily pregnant. It however didn’t have any toll on her beautiful face. She dazzled in two different attires for the ceremony, a blue strapless traditional attire for her first outing and the second outfit was a silver crystal studded Igbo blouse on Orange double expensive wrapper. The handsome and tall groom stood out in an all white ensemble. He was ushered in by several artistes led by Mr Ibu who we gathered is not only his right hand man but the guy who introduced him to his bride. They were flanked by many armed security men and arrived in exotic rides. Popularly known as Arab Money, he is said to be the guy most Nollywood stars now suck up to for financial favours and it is evident he is a giver from the manner they revere him. Among those who attended were the likes of Mr Ibu, Okey Bakassi, Klint d Drunk, Browny Ibegbu, Chinyere Winifred, Prince Nwafor, Onyi Alex, Uche, Nzube Onyia and a long list of others. The ceremony was indeed a fan fare with lots to eat and drink. To entertain guests, music stars JMartins, Sele Bobo and Nigga Raw were billed to take charge and they did serenade the teeming crowd.
