A new hit movie titled The Wedding Party is set to blow the mind of movie lovers come November 26th, 2016.The hilarious comedy movie titled The Wedding party follows the shenanigans that go on during the planning of a wedding in Nigeria. Dunni (Adesua Etomi) a 24 year old art gallery owner and only daughter of her parents, Engineer Bamidele and Mrs Tinuade Coker, is about to marry the love of her life, IT entrepreneur Dozie (Banky W) the handsome son of Felix and Obianuju Onwuka. The couple took a vow of chastity and are looking forward to a ground -breaking first night together as a married couple. Between matchmaking attempts on the bridal train, a wedding planner on a mission to succeed, the unruly behaviour of some ‘village’ guests much to Tinuade’s horror, Dunni's uncertainty about her new husband's faithfulness during the time of their courtship, amidst colourful aso-ebi, eclectic music, small chops, and souvenir drama, we begin to wonder whether Dunni and Dozie will get through their wedding reception unscathed.The movie is replete with romantic scenes playe by the couple Banky and Adesua who engaged in very passionate kiss. The ELFIKE Film Collective is a partnership of moviemakers in Nigeria: Ebony Life Films, Film One Distribution, Inkblot Productions and Koga Studios, respectively. Directed by Kemi Adetiba, the movie was premiered in London and Toronto Festival in Canada, while the Lagos premiere comes up on the 26th of November, 2016 Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.


“It promises to be a night of great entertainment and experiences,” said Mo’ Abudu of Ebony Life one of the executive producers at the media screening which held at Imax Cinema, Lekki.The night she says will kick off at the Bridal Court where guests will be welcomed and entertained. From there, it’ll be on to the Love Zone where messages of love and more await attendees. They will also be treated to a ‘Gourmet Board’ where they will be treated to food before the movie itself is screened. Written by playwright, Tosin Otudeko and Kemi Adetiba, the original concept was conceived by Executive Producer, Mo Abudu and is an Elfike Collective Film – a collaboration of Africa’s leading film powerhouses – EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Inkblot Productions and Koga Studios, respectively.
