Chinese Millionaire Katsuya Rewards Nigerian Players With $390,000 AtThe Olympics

A Chinese man who has no blood ties to Nigeria but passionately loves our country's football team has given financial reward to the team.The wealthy Japanese plastic surgeon Katsuya Takasu, who had earlier promised Samson Siasia and the boys $30k each if they win Gold at the Olympics - $20k for Silver - and $10k for Bronze; is finally making do his promise.


The Tokyo based surgeon went to the Nigerian Embassy few days ago to present a letter formally expressing his interest to gift our Dream Team a total sum of $390,000.

The money will be split between the coach and the captain - SiaSia will receive $200,000 - Mikel Obi$190,000.

However, Mr Takasu did not indicate if the money for Mikel is for him alone or will be shared among other players.
