Fast-rising Nollywood actor Ani Iyoho, who played a key role in the popular series Lekki Wives is reportedly fighting for his life at an undisclosed hospital after he was accidentally burnt alive while filming a new action flick.
The Akwa Ibom state born Nollywood actor who has several movies and TV series under his belt, is reportedly lying critical at the hospital after suffering severe burns.
Ani Iyoho who is a karate black-belt holder and touts himself as a fearless stuntman and always goes the extra mile to prove he’s a good actor. While shooting a scene from the blockbuster movie - he reportedly agreed to have his body set on fire for a few minutes before the directors tried to quench it but ran out of luck after the fire extinguisher jammed - prompting them to rush him to a hospital’s emergency room.
However, sources close to the director of the movie, Stanlee Ohikhuare, claim it's just a publicity stunt to generate buzz for the new action packed flick.
