Last weekend was indeed a groovy one for some African artistes who made the nomination of the prestigious BET Awards.From Nigeria, the likes of Yemi Alade and Falz The Bad guy made the list and they were among the crew flown to Los Angeles and lodged at J W Marriot,one of the best in California  for the weekend to attend the ceremony. Although Falz won his category as the Best New International act, songstress Yemi Alade lost out
big time unfortunately to a Ghanaian musician whom she didn't recognise earlier or rather snubbed at her hotel. The fast rising singer was downcast over her loss and took solace on her account to console her self.In her words ,she said Bye Los Angeles,I was fortunate to watch Beyoncé,ALicia Keys,Usher,Jennifer Hudson hit the stage all in one night. It was magical also realised that apart from the talent,the major difference between us and them is opportunity, That is just all but their passion is priceless, you can see months of preparation meet opportunity.
