Young, talented and good looking actor Chuks Omalicha is one of the new sensations rocking Nollywood, having acted alongside renowned stars in Nollywood within his short debut. The chocolate complexioned actor has a B.Sc & M.Sc in Biomedical Science from Delta State University and University of Witwatersrand and, Johannesburg, respectively. Chuks who has emerged the hottest actor in Asaba recently won the City People Entertainment awards New Most Promising Actor. He started when he ran into a production in Benin, and was given a script to audition as a mad man.
In his words, “I did it so well and was given a role in that movie “On what inspired him into acting, he revealed “A lot of movies, talent and passion. I have been acting for 3 years and I must confess it has not been easy. Too many huddles to climb, too many sacrifices to make but God have been faithful. I got into acting in 2008, it was something I always wanted to do, as child, I started acting in church and in school and I enjoyed it even as a child. Then the passion grew as I grew older and I was looking for an opportunity to feature in a movie. I was patient enough and I ran into a production in Benin; I asked if I could join, I was given a script to audition as a mad man. By Gods grace I did it so well and was given a role in that movie. I made contacts
and wanted to do another movie but didn’t have another opportunity till December 2009 When I met Director Ifeanyi Ogbonna who saw something in me and gave me a sup lead role. And that was it, since then I did few movies in 2010, then had to travel abroad for studies, came back and went fully into Acting. I did few movies in 2012. 2013 was better after doing a movie titled The Iluminatti Cult and since then is been Gods grace all the way. In 2014 I got recognition after doing the movie Vanity, Kosiso, Ibu and Akwa Ibom etc and up till date it’s been from grace to grace.Below are pictures from some of his works
